The sectoral performance award was given to BOLPARSAN LTD. The "Sectoral Performance Evaluation Organization" for industrial businesses in Eastern Marmara was held with the collaboration of Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce, CNN Turk, ABIGEM Eastern Marmara LTD, Eastern Marmara Development Agency and PricewaterhouseCoopers, Turkey. This year's awards were presented in the ceremony held in Sapanca.
The awards of the 2011 "Sectoral Performance Evaluation Organization" were granted. TOBB president M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Kocaeli Governor Ercan Topaca, Sakarya Governor Mustafa Büyük, Yalova Governor and the Chairman of Eastern Marmara Development Agency Esengül Civelek, the Chairman of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, the Chairman of Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Emin Semercioğlu, Women Entrepreneurs Board President Emine Davarcıoğlu; the Chairmen of Sakarya, Düzce, Yalova Chambers of Commerce and Industry, CNN Turk Economy Manager Emin Çapa, the presidents of the universities in the region, representatives from the companies and many other guests also participated in the ceremony held in Güral Sapanca Hotel.
TOBB president Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu, who made a presentation before the ceremony, evaluated the current economical situation in Turkey and expressed the demands of the business world. After the speeches of the Kocaeli Governor Ercan Topaca and Yalova Governor Esengül Civelek, the ceremony started and the awards were granted by the jury to companies determined among the SMEs and large enterprises operating in the Eastern Marmara region based on the sectoral division, according to a series of criteria such as efficiency, employment, exports, tax etc.
In the organization in which two companies were awarded in each sector, one such company was an SME, with the other being in the large enterprise category. One of the categories was the metal industry sector. The company which was granted with the SME award in the Eastern Marmara Region in this category was Bolparsan LTD. Company general manager Nazmi Uysal received the award from the Chairman of Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Emin Semercioğlu.
